The Economy and Society International Prize has been awarded for the third time on May 18, 2017 in Palazzo della Cancelleria on the occasion of Fondazione Centesimus Annus \u2013 Pro Pontifice\u2019s International Conference held in Rome and in Vatican on May 18-20, 2017.<\/p>\n

The winner is:<\/p>\n

Markus Vogt for the book \u201c\u201cPrinzip Nachhaltigkeit: Ein Entwurf aus theologisch-ethischer Perspektive\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>(Munchen-2009, oeKom verlag, third ed. 2013).<\/p>\n

The winners of the special section for works of journalism in the Social Doctrine of the Church are:<\/p>\n

Dominique Greiner<\/strong>, for the blog: \u201cLa doctrine sociale sur le fil<\/strong>\u201d, on the newspaper\u2019s site \u201cLa Croix\u201d\u00a0www.doctrine-sociale.blogs.la-croix.com<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Burkhard Sch\u00e4fers<\/strong>, for the radio program: \u201cOswald von Nell-Breuning \u2013 Was von der katholischen Soziallehre geblieben ist<\/strong>\u201d, broadcast for the first time on Deutschlandradio Kultur\/Religion\u00a0 March 8th, 2015<\/span><\/p>\n

The ceremony has been chaired by Secretary of Vatican State H.E.\u00a0Card. Pietro Parolin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
